James Franco Xeroville pumps with opening less than $ 9,000

James Franco's recent training at the cinema, Xerophile, fell at the box office aloud, earning less than $ 9,000 last weekend. Zeroville, an emotional project of the dictator, who directed and starred in the film, is based on Steve Erickson's 2007 novel of the same name. 

It tells the story of an almost autistic architecture student named Ike Jerome, inspired by his passion for cinema to paint a picture of Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Clift on his scalp, and travel to Hollywood.

His unique personality fascinates him, by gaining his place in the design of the film and, finally, a job as an editor. 

But his delusional journey finally becomes a nightmare when his wealth turns into a tragedy. Joining Franco on the screen is a lot of talent, including Megan Fox, Seth Rugen, Will Ferrell, and Danny McBride. Unfortunately, the power of the stars in front of and behind the cameras has done nothing to ease the poor box office extraction and extreme resentment.

As The Wrap reported, Zeroville earned an unfortunate $ 8897 across the country, averaging $ 111 per screen. This is the lowest average per screen for any Franco management effort. 

The artist's disaster is an anomaly in his filmography, as his other projects had earned less than $ 30,000 throughout his career and had very limited versions. Of course, this does not include Franco 's first demonstration appearance, The Ape, where he played the role of a young man who becomes a roommate with a damned boss in a Hawaiian shirt. 

There are no box office records for it because it went directly to the video.

Franco has been very successful as an actor over the years. He starred in two of the best fans, such as the original Spider-Man trilogy, Rise of the world of the Apes, and that's the end, as well as the 127-hour beloved critics, Milk and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. 

And then, of course, there is The Disaster creative person, a recent on Rotten Tomatoes certified and nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Film: Music or Comedy. Also, Franco himself won the award for the best actor: musician or comedian. He was also nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for his exceptional interpretation of a male actor in a leading role.
